Can HiLight Increase Chicken & Egg Production in Zambia?

As we are currently celebrating Eastern here in Sweden, what could be better news: The Royal Academy of Veterinary (SLU) in Uppsala, Sweden, recently approved 2 final years students to execute an MFS, Minor Field Study in Zambia. The aim is to explore HiLight’s importance in providing light for chicken production. With more hours of light, prolonging the usual 12 hours of daylight, chickens are expected to eat more,  which should increase efficiency in production. Tests will also be done to verify the effect of the light in egg production.
